Mom Banned From Delivering Sermons on School Steps

CONCORD, N.H. — Lizarda Urena will no longer be permitted to say prayers aloud, utter Bible verses and deliver sermons on the front steps of Concord High School in the morning when children are arriving on campus.

The woman is the mother of two high school students and began her activities in front of the school in February when bullets were found in the school bathroom, reports the Concord Monitor.

Urena’s activities were denounced by the atheist group, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), which filed a complaint with the district.
