The Surveyor HD by Vicon Industries Inc. of Hauppauge, N.Y., is a 1.3-megapixel dome camera that is equipped with 18x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom.
Available in indoor, outdoor, pressurized and maximum-security models, the ONVIF-conformant camera offers 360Ëš continuous rotation, a wide range of programmable features, including privacy masking.
The camera provides a choice of H.264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG encoding options, and features a 4.7-84.6mm varifocal lens. Digital noise reduction minimizes video interference and triggering of false alarms, the company says.
