A New Jersey man was arrested after police say he brandished a knife and ran out of a hospital before forcing a nearby truck driver to drive him off the premises on June 28.

Jared Marshall Weatherly, 29, was in a wheelchair at Princeton Community Hospital when he allegedly stood up, pulled out a knife and ran out of a rear exit and into the parking lot, according to bdtonline.com. Weatherly then held a truck driver at knife point as he forced the driver to take him to a nearby cemetery.

After Weatherly got out of the truck the driver went back to the hospital and told hospital security guards what happened. Weatherly was arrested without incident shortly after by the Princeton Police Department.

He was charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful restraint, brandishing a deadly weapon and assault. Weatherly was arraigned the same day and faces up to five years in prison.
