The parents of children who attended a daycare at a Massachusetts university have filed a lawsuit against the school after a student worker and the daycare’s director were arrested.
The parents say they are only seeking information, not money, from Bridgewater State University, a small Massachusetts school, according to necn.com.
Student Kyle Loughlin, 21, was charged with raping two young boys at the daycare in March. Loughlin’s boss, daycare director Judith Ritacco, 53, was then charged with reckless child endangerment, witness intimidation and misleading investigators. Ritacco was recently fired by the university and both defendants are pleading not guilty to all charges.
One of the children involved in the lawsuit is one of the alleged rape victims and the other parents say they have suspicion that their child was abused.
