SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The Slippery Rock University campus was informed last week of an alleged rape that occurred in September involving students at the university. According to police, the time period between the incident and the issuing of the arrest warrants was a standard time frame.
Bryan Chieze and Braydon Micaletti were charged for allegedly simultaneously raping a female student, The Rocket reports. The charges came on Oct. 22, three weeks after the crime took place.
Chieze and Micaletti reportedly were speaking to the victim in the bedroom of a home before they overpowered her and committed the assault. A friend of the victim opened the door of the bedroom during the assault and saw Micaletti over the victim, holding her down, while Chieze was between her legs.
