Blackboard launches the MyConnect app that allows users to get alerts and personalize the messages sent to their mobile devices.
The app allows users to subscribe to MyConnect groups, which are topic-based subscription lists provided by their institutions. Community members can also identify message mode preferences — including voice, E-mail or SMS/text. It also delivers push notifications anytime a recipient receives an alert. The app also allows recipients to manage notifications from different institutions with whom they are affiliated that use Blackboard Connect.
The free Blackboard MyConnect app is available on the iTunes and Google Play app stores.
