Former Wesleyan Public Safety Officers Accused of Voyeurism

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — Authorities charged two former Wesleyan University public safety officers Tuesday with voyeurism in connection with an alleged video recording of a female student in her dwelling.

Richard Hodge, 35, admitted to police that he recorded the student and shared the video with Michael Anderson, 34, The Daily Journal reports. Anderson confirmed to authorities that he had received the video. Police did not release details of the recording or how many videos Hodge recorded.

Hodge faces two counts of voyeuristic recording of another person and a single count of disseminating voyeuristic material. Anderson was charged with one count of disseminating voyeuristic material.

Wesleyan terminated the two public safety officers in April after school officials learned of the allegations.
