CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A student at Union-Scioto High School was beaten for being gay by another student in a classroom. The incident was captured by a bystander on a cellphone and posted to Facebook and YouTube.
Other students watched as the aggressor waited for his victim to arrive in the classroom, ABC News reports. The student then pushed the victim to the ground and repeatedly punched him in the face. The boy suffered two broken teeth and a possible concussion.
Rebecca Collins, the victim’s mother, said her son has been regularly bullied. In a recent incident, someone commented on a posting of his picture of Facebook: “Check out the definition of a faggot.”
