STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Jay Paterno, the son of former Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno, has filed a lawsuit against the university, for his termination from the football staff in January 2012.
Paterno filed the lawsuit with former Penn State coach Bill Kenney and claim they were unfairly linked to the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal.
As a result, the duo states that their chances at future employment in the major college coaching or broadcasting ranks have been ruined, PennLive.com reports.
They seek $1 million in damages.
