Man Shoots Counselor on College Campus

PHOENIX — Authorities have arrested the gunman who shot a woman Tuesday on the campus of ITT Technical Institute.

About 200 students were on campus at the time of the shooting, Fox News reports. The school was temporarily shut down following the incident.

Carlos L. Webb, 33, surrendered to a police SWAT team Wednesday, The Associated Press reports. The victim, a recruitment counselor, was Webb’s ex-girlfriend, according to police. He reportedly went to the campus to confront her about their breakup.
