NASHUA, N.H. — The Board of Education here approved a plan to spend $2.01 million to upgrade security features in the Nashua School District by next fall.
The district will use the funds to install intercom systems, cameras and motion sensors at all main entrances and loading areas of schools, as well as keypads and other devices at other school entrances and a computer system for monitoring security throughout the schools, The Telegraph reports.
The board’s Finance and Operations Committee unanimously awarded Wilmington, Mass.-based Securadyne to complete the project.
