LOS ANGELES — Due to a lack of evidence, prosecutors did not file charges against a Notre Dame High School student who allegedly plotted to kill a teacher and two students. However, police are still investigating.
The 16-year-old boy was arrested March 2 on suspicion of making terrorist threats, the Los Angeles Times reports. Police found a WWII-era rifle in the boy’s home.
A parent tipped off the police about the plot. Sources said the boy was angry at the teacher over a bad grade; and that one of the students he targeted was an unrequited love and the other had been bullying him.
