WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — A Westchester County police officer filed a lawsuit against a liquor store that allegedly sold alcohol to an underage Pace University football player. The officer shot and killed the football player, who was intoxicated during the altercation with the officer.
Danroy Henry Jr. was fatally shot by officer Aaron Hess on Oct. 17, the NewsCore reports. Hess claims the liquor store is responsible for his injuries, which resulted from being struck by a car with Henry behind the wheel.
Hess and another officer opened fire on Henry when he tried to drive his car out of a fire lane after the Pace University homecoming game. Henry struck Hess, a third officer and a police car.
