REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — A student was arrested after he allegedly tried to sexually assault a Summit Preparatory Charter High School employee on Jan. 23.
Police said David Velasquez, 19, brandished a knife and forced the woman toward her car, the San Mateo County Times reports. When she resisted, he forced her to the ground and inflicted minor injuries. The suspect fled after another school employee arrived at the scene and began yelling.
