A special needs school bus was hit multiple times after it drove through a shooting in Virginia on April 29.
No one was hurt in the incident but multiple bullet holes were found in the bus, which was driving its normal route home from the Emily Spong Preschool Center. School officials said when the bus driver heard the shots she got all the students on the floor and checked them to make sure they weren’t hit, according to krtv.com.
There were six special needs students on the bus at the time and the school brought in a crisis team for the children.
Portsmouth Police are still investigating the shooting.
