Police applauded the actions of a few students in southern Indiana after two teenagers were taken into custody for reportedly making multiple school shooting threats.
The teens, both of whom are 16, are being held in a juvenile detention facility and face preliminary charges of felony intimidation, according to cbs4indy.
The North Vernon Police Department made the arrests following an investigation that was sparked by students who reported hearing and seeing threats in recent weeks.

The teenagers reportedly threatened to shoot up an event at Jennings County High School, where they are enrolled as underclassmen. The threats were made over Facebook and to classmates in person.
Parents were notified of the threat September 17 and some schools in the district remained on a modified lockdown the following day.
