Thousands Show Up for Rowdy Back-to-School Party

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A back-to-school themed party near Colorado State University drew thousands of attendees and ended when all available police patrols and 10 ambulances were called to the scene.

Four people were arrested, cited and released, The Coloradoan reports. Wyandt Holmes, spokesman for Poudre Valley Hospital EMS, said 15 people required medical assistance; 10 of those needed ambulance transport.

Attendees said they came to the event after seeing its Facebook page, which described the page as lasting from 1 to 10 p.m. with free food, a DJ and prizes.
