Because every second matters in an emergency, the Response Accelerator Awards recognize organizations that have taken steps to compress time in an emergency and accelerate response for the best possible outcome.
The awards will highlight education safety/security teams, district-based law enforcement organizations, municipal-based public safety teams, and healthcare safety teams. Multiple awards will be issued to honor the challenges faced by different-sized campuses.
How to Apply for the 2024 Response Accelerator Awards
Our short award application is an opportunity to share how you accelerate emergency response times and improve crisis outcomes for your campus and team members. Specifically, a panel of judges will be looking at the following criteria:
- Applicants will be asked to show how their emergency alert systems empower their staff members to communicate emergencies with their teams and to describe a specific event that demanded a rapid response on your campus.
- Candidates will provide information regarding how all other persons on campus receive notification of an incident and what actions to take next. In addition, please share how teams initiate communication with 911 responders.
- Finally, judges are looking for how first responders know the location of the alert and how those persons obtain information regarding important emergency response tools (e.g. AEDs).
CENTEGIX to Announce Winners at 2024 Campus Safety Conference
Award applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges composed of industry leaders in campus safety. Our judges will look for succinct explanations of an organization’s use of best practices for emergency responses and clear evidence of improved emergency response times across your organization.
Winners will be announced during the awards presentation on July 9, 2024, in Atlanta, Ga., during the Campus Safety Conference. Your presence at the conference is not necessary to win.
The prize package includes an award, photos and a press release to highlight your organization’s dedication to rapid emergency response and overall campus safety, a badge to display on your organization’s website, plus opportunities to participate in safety-related thought leadership events to further promote your achievements and the impact of your efforts on your organization.
