Telex Radio Dispatch, a manufacturer of IP control for two-way radio communications, announces the next generation of its flagship C-Soft dispatch software and IP-224 radio gateway interface platforms.
The newest versions, C-Soft v7.3 and IP-224 Firmware v2.3, significantly extend the capabilities of the current platforms while retaining their reliability, flexibility, cost-effectiveness and user-friendliness, according to the company.
The DMR AIS interface option provides a direct IP connection between the dispatch system and the radio system infrastructure. Supported functions include alert call, broadcast call, emergency call, GPS, group call, radio check, radio enable/disable, remote monitor, status and text messaging.
C-Soft v7.3 supports DES and AES 256-bit encryption utilizing FIPS 140-2 validated encryption module for P25 DFSI conventional wireline interfacing (Direct IP) between C-Soft and P25 repeaters.
The platform provides an API/SDK option for enhanced integration with third-party developers, allowing developers to write interfaces for systems of varying size and complexity.
IP-224 Firmware v2.3 changes how the advanced interfaces work. The standard IP-224 units come with MDC and FleetSync included.
All other serial interface options are bundled into one Advanced Interface Option, simplifying orders and enabling dealers to keep a single IP-224 on the shelf.
The new firmware release also supports SNMP v3, ANI for Kenwood NX-5×00 DMR radios.
